Simply plug it into a standard power outlet, connect to our App and watch your solar panels start producing free electricity. No need for an interconnection agreement with your utility, so it's permission-free. This system will not back-feed power into the public grid.

All products were developed by CraftStrom and work in perfect unison to allow you to install solar by yourself, without needing permission. We provide accessories, which allow our systems to be safe and reliable, while adhering to National Electric Code (NEC) standards.

How much can I save?

You can produce up to 2,880 kWh every year or 72,000 kWh over the lifetime of the system. That’s enough power to drive a Tesla for 396,000 miles or 16 times around the Earth. We provide the warranties and the sun is free!

Can I get the solar tax credit from the government?

Yeah, Unfortunately, the tax credits for private solar installation were repealed and ended with December 2025.

What regulates my solar system?

The PowerMeter regulates the electricity flows between your appliances and our battery system. Only produce as much energy as you need, so you don’t need to deal with your utility – you don’t need an interconnection agreement or any other permissions from them. This is called zero-export and our unique solution regulates this every 0.1 seconds.

Is it safe to connect to a power outlet?

Yes! A power outlet is just a connection point for electrical devices. It allows power flow in both directions, but the NEC requires a breaker to also measure ingoing power flow. Our NEC Smart Breaker does exactly that and  allows you to connect your plug&play solar system directly to any standard power outlet. It is smart, because it constantly watches the power flow in your home circuit. Should it detect a problem, it will physically disconnect (galvanic separation) the CraftStrom products and remove any risk.
